Question: Is there a lip balm for men that is a strong lubricator without the shine?

I just started taking Accutane a month ago and my lips are peeling like crazy and so dry it's ridiculous. I've been taking oral vitamin E daily which I know is supposed to help but the drying effect on my lips is still way too much and unsightly. When I try to cover it up, it's even more unattractive due to how much it shines. Does anyone know if there's a way to lubricate and protect severly dry lips without there being a shine? If you know how to achieve that result I appreciate your help more than you could ever imagine. Thanks for your answers :).

Blistex has ointment for severely dry chapped lips. It's medicated and will heal them right up. It doesn't have a shine at all.

Is Burt's Bees lipbalm too shiny? I've never known that one to have a shine to it at all. or EOS has a great lipbalm, too... sooooo moisturizing and is organic. and even though the container looks feminine-ish, men use it too. Try chapstick. regular chapstick. apply it before bed and when u wake up ur lips will be super smooth or vaseline/ petrolium jelly (sp?) works well.. blistex is good, but smells :(

My boyfriend uses chapstick. He only has to apply it once every so often, and I never notice the shine, really.

You could use something like the Carmex that comes in tubes or the little blue Blistex pot called Lip Medex. The Blistex Lip Medex is a medicated balm,and is very soothing.
